Title 42 refers to a federal law that gives the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention the power to bar the entry of individuals into the U.S. to protect the public from contagious diseases, even if those individuals otherwise would be eligible to apply for asylum or other forms of humanitarian relief. It was a way the Trump administration could get rid of unwanted people without negotiating with Democrats and Congress to actually pass comprehensive Immigration reform that actually works for everyone.
VT's Mark Dankof was the former 36th District Chairman of the Republican Party in King County/Seattle. He was an elected delegate to Texas State Republican Conventions in 1994 and 1996 and entered the United States Senate race in Delaware in 2000 as the nominated candidate of the Constitution Party against Democratic candidate Thomas Carper and Republican incumbent William Roth.
